WHY 2 BE In, As, & Thankful for WHAT YOU WANT NOW! A Life and Death account - by Raphiem... On a wing and prayer of positive thoughts and images For my job at times am required to fly between locations on avg 2 - 3 flights per week ... it's almost the life of a rock star ... i get to meet some interesting people with interesting stories and experiences on these flights ... a couple of weeks ago as i opened up dialogue with a passenger (Henry) seated next to me ... somehow we got onto the topic of aerodynamics probably due to my mentioning about how the engines of the plane we were on were out of tune with each other .... like two strings on a guitar being slightly out of tune ... sets up a beat (sort of like hemi sync) which one can hear if listened to closely ... Henry recounted a scary but very positive aviation experience as told to him by a relative who was actually on this adventurous flight ..... I can't remember the details of the flight ... but i think it was either from Spain to Canada or from Canada to Spain ..... ... the year i think was 2001 ... for some reason mid-way during their flight and at night in the dark ... the plane lost its fuel (i think a fuel leak) .... here they were over the ocean ... 300 passengers with no fuel ... no power .. no lights .... there was no way this plane was going to make it home ... and would have ditch/crash into the ocean ... luckily (?) ... more like synchronistically that flight had to be re-routed earlier on take-off and so they happened to be near the Azores islands .... problem was ... they were now gliding in the dark .... (jumbo jets are not designed to glide) .... no power and very little aviation electronics working .... i think he said only radio was working ... landing on an island in the Azores ,,, with a small runaway not designed for jumbo's ... no engines ... in the dark ... first they had to ensure they could glide enough to reach the island .... then they had to make sure they came in at the right angle ... right speed and then pray they had enough runaway to brake with no reverse thrusts ... note : this is damn difficult with no online computers and only guided by radio ...and lots of co-pilots doing trigonometry (good reason to take trigonometry seriously ;o) .... the problem is in the gliding .... if they come in to fast ... they would overshoot the runaway ... and there would be no 2nd chance ... and would crash into the water ... if they come in to slow ... the plane would literally just drop out of the air as it loses it's glide potential then there is the issue when they hit the tarmac to brake on a small runaway not designed for jumbos with no reverse thrusters ... and no end up in the water ... so all along they had to focus and keep this bird of metal in the air on equilibrium and harmony with 300 passengers... Henry told me that the plane actually came in too fast ... but still managed to land/bounce and break with some runaway to spare ... with no deaths or causalities. .. now you're probably all wondering why am i telling your this story ... according to Henry (his relative) ... all the people on the plane rather than panic ... and think about their doom ... as well as pray they all focused together ..peacefully ... and meditated with images of safe landing and survival ... he told me that one of the stewardesses ... over the microphone got everyone to calm down and simply focus and co-ordinate their energy and thoughts on a safe smooth landing ... rather than rant ...yell ...scream ... according to Henry ... the plane magically broke the Guinness book of records for longest distance a jumbo had glided with no engines ... am not sure if the above is true or accurate ... I'm only retelling the story as told to me ... now... that was a plane with 300 people imagine a world with almost 7.2billion people with majority all focusing and feeling thoughts of peace, harmony and love Raphiem Sponsored by:Love's Loop Alerts Weekly and The Firethegrid Care2 Lightworker Group To Leave Comments Click Here => ADD MY COMMENTS .
